Important: All client data is scoped to your agent account. No other agent can see your clients or their data.
2.3 Property Data
Property listing data is imported via the Match Logic Chrome Extension from publicly available real estate listing websites. We store property details (address, price, features, images, listing descriptions) for matching and analysis purposes.
2.4 Usage Data
We collect standard usage data including:
- Pages visited and features used
- Browser type and device information
- Error reports (via Sentry for debugging purposes)
2.5 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/au/privacy.

- Provide the service — match properties to client criteria, generate scores, send notifications
- Analyse properties — use AI to assess listing descriptions and images for property condition, features, and concerns
- Generate reports — produce PDF property reports with investment metrics, walkability, and transport data
- Send notifications — email alerts for new high-scoring matches and client notification drafts
- Process payments — manage subscriptions and billing via Stripe
- Improve the platform — analyse usage patterns to fix bugs and enhance features
- Communicate with you — send onboarding emails, product updates, and support responses
4. AI and Automated Analysis
Match Logic uses artificial intelligence to analyse property listings:
- Description analysis: Listing descriptions are processed to extract sentiment, identify potential red flags, and assess renovation status.
- Image analysis: Listing photos are analysed to assess property condition, quality, and visible features or concerns.
All AI analysis runs on our own infrastructure using locally-hosted models. No property data, client data, or listing information is sent to external AI providers.
AI analysis outputs are informational only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional property inspections or expert advice.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Sentry — error monitoring and debugging
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- OpenStreetMap (Overpass API, Nominatim) — walkability, transport, and geocoding data
- Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) — census and demographic data
These services may process limited data as necessary to provide their functions. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
6. Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Australian infrastructure.
- All connections to our platform use HTTPS encryption.
- Authentication uses JWT tokens stored in secure, httpOnly cookies with CSRF protection.
- Database backups are performed daily with automated restore verification.
- All data is scoped by agent account — strict tenant isolation prevents cross-account access.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for:
- Authentication — secure session management (httpOnly cookies)
- Security — CSRF protection
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
8. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active and your subscription is current.
- Cancelled accounts: Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation, then permanently deleted.

- Property data: Property listings may be retained for analysis and matching purposes even after individual listings are no longer active on source websites.

10. Chrome Extension
The Match Logic Chrome Extension reads property listing data from publicly accessible real estate websites (realestate.com.au and domain.com.au) that you have open in your browser. The extension:
- Only activates on supported listing pages
- Reads listing data visible on the page (not hidden or private data)
- Sends listing data to your Match Logic account via authenticated API calls
- Does not track your browsing history or activity on other websites
- Does not collect any data when inactive
11. Children's Privacy
Match Logic is a business-to-business service designed for licensed real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
